This fall Outpost Hillevåg will host a series of transdisciplinary invocations or incantations between film, music and dance to inaugurate and saturate the new transitional space in Hillevåg. Each medium informing the space and the moment, not at the same time but in the same place, one thing after the other.

Simply put we will screen a film followed by a live music set followed by a short improvisational dance performance. 1+1+1.

 Film note & TBA- There are so many classic and avant garde films we want to see with others on a big screen, and the new space makes a good place to start. 

Bio-

Pål Asle Pettersen is a sound artist, composer, musician working with installations, performing arts, film and video art among other things. Pettersen has created several sound installations and art projects—including ‘Circularity in Action’—and composed sound for the work *Ekko* in Bjerksted Cultural Park.

In addition to his artistic practice, he runs the concert series and record label zang: and has spent over a decade organizing a concert series for experimental music at venues such as Tou Scene, Cafe Humbug, Consulatet, and RIMI/IMIR. Through zang, he has also organized numerous courses and workshops on music and technology.

Oda Olivia Øverbø Lindegård (b. 1995) is a dance artist based in Oslo. She holds a BA in dance from University of Stavanger (2019) and an MA in dance from Oslo National Academy of the Arts (2023). Her amazement with the body’s subtle information and diverse expressions is anchored in somatic work and improvisational practices. By investigating and using autonomous and underlying movements as a tool for dancing, she searches for unexpectedly recognizable situations and feelings to create from, in her own work and in collaboration with others.
